Why?FAQ
1. Why is a website better than my normal advertising?
A website is an advert for your business that reaches a different [and increasing] group of people. For example, 64% of adults in the UK have accessed the Internet during the previous three months [Office for National Statistics October 2005]

2. What advantages does a website have over Yellow Pages?
It can be much cheaper to have your own website than advertising in Yellow Pages. You should consider all forms of advertising but a website of 5-10 pages can be cheaper than a Yellow Pages or Yell listing over 1-2 years.
Print, television and radio adverts have space and time limits. By including your web address in your advertising campaign, customers can view your website in their own time to find out more about your business. Your business is "open" every day for 365 days a year.

3. I run a local business - am I too small for a website?
No. In fact, many of our clients are local businesses. Whether your customers are global or local, a website can provide you with many benefits. A website can provide a fast and easy way to access information.
For example, business and contact information - newsletter and product information - frequently asked questions - links to other specific information.
A website can enable you to sell your products online. We know the best software to use if you want to start an online shop.

4. What kind of audience does a website get?
Generally, your website is viewed by a highly targeted audience. Search engines direct traffic to you based on the description of products and services on your website.
5. How do I find out how many visitors the website attracts?
Once your website is online, we can tell you which are the most popular pages, what words people use to find the website, which search engines are referring them to your website, how many visitors are viewing your website and much more. This gives you a measure of how the website is performing.
Using this information, your website content and site layout can be adjusted quickly and cost-effectively to match website customer trends to your marketing goals. For example, if you have a specific product to promote, it might be an idea to have a link to this on your most popular web pages.

6. How can I use a website to keep in touch with my customers?
With Internet-based publishing, you pay for design and maintenance only. You do not pay for how many customers get your message. There is no minimum run of adverts or printed flyers. When you want to add, update or remove information, it can be done quickly and with minimal effect on your budget.
You may want to use your website to obtain readers for your newsletters. With email-based newsletters and articles you can keep in closer contact with your existing customers.

7. Is it true that a website is expensive and does not generate sales?
No. This could be said of any advertising method that is badly implemented. The key to making a website work is our collaboration with you - your business acumen combined with our web and technical knowledge.
Our objective is to improve your customer base and lead to greater sales, either directly or indirectly.

8. What if my budget is limited?
We think it is a good idea to have a "starter" web presence. Our websites start from £300.00 for a three page website.
Many of our clients have small websites that have attracted significant extra business.
